The JCDVPP has been operating in Queensland for the past 28 years, producing resources and running workshops for church and faith communities. Recognising that domestic and family violence is often a hidden evil in these communities, our workshops bring together clergy, faith leaders and laity to examine ways in which to address violence, bringing this into the light of truth and healing.
Session 1 | 25th February: What is Domestic & Family Violence, Understanding Perpetrators.
Session 2 | 4th March: DFV A personal story, Responding to Domestic Family Violence.
Session 3| 11th March: Theology and Domestic & Family Violence, Expert Q&A Panel.
An initiative of Joint Churches Domestic Violence Prevention Project (JCDVPP) - A Commission of Queensland Churches Together formed in recognition that Domestic and Family Violence is just as prevalent in the Church community as in the community at large.
