Following the success of Module Three: Being Sacramental, the Cairns Diocese will host a second 'Cairns Hub' for locals to participate in a Catholic Foundations course offered by Brisbane's Archdiocesan Centre for Catholic Formation.
Beginning on July 22nd, Module Four will engage participants in an exploration of what it means to be a people on mission, the call to evangelisation and the role of evangelisation in family, parish and community life.
The module "A People on Mission" is for:
- Those who want to grow deeper in their love for God and others
- Those preparing for the ministries of lector, acolyte and catechist
- Those who are parish staff or volunteers who do not have any formal theological qualifications
- Those who want to share their faith with others
Mondays | 7-9pm
In-person at the Bishop's House, 183 Abbott St, Cairns, or online via Microsoft Teams (no subscription required).
Total course cost is $150 per person. Diocesan Outreach and Mission Services will subsidise Cairns participants at 50%, bringing the cost to participants to $75 per person.
This is the fourth module in a series of four that can be studied in any order.
