O God, Creator of all things, we come before you with hearts full of gratitude for the dedicated volunteers in our Diocese of Cairns. We thank you for their generosity, their unwavering commitment, and the countless hours they selflessly give to support the mission of your Church.

Lord Jesus Christ, you taught us that whoever wishes to be great must first be a servant. Bless our volunteers who follow your example by serving their brothers and sisters with love and compassion. Strengthen them in their service, that they may continue to be a source of hope and inspiration to those they encounter.

Holy Spirit, fill our volunteers with your gifts of wisdom, understanding, and perseverance. Guide them in their various ministries, whether they are teaching, assisting in liturgical life, providing hospitality, caring for the sick, or reaching out to the marginalized. May their actions always reflect your love and mercy.

We ask you, Lord, to look with favour upon these faithful servants. Protect them and their families, and grant them the grace to grow in holiness through their service.

We entrust them to the loving care of St. Joseph, Patron of the Universal Church, that he may watch over them and intercede for them in all their needs. May they follow his example of humility, dedication, and loving care.

We pray for the intercession of Our Mother of Good Counsel, who watches over us in the Diocese of Cairns, may she help our volunteers with the gifts of wise advice and good judgement.

We ask all of this through Christ our Lord.
