Welcoming Our 2026 NET Team to the Diocese of Cairns from NET Ministries
The Catholic Diocese of Cairns is delighted to welcome the 2026 Cairns NET Team, a passionate group of young missionary disciples who will journey with our parishes, schools, and communities throughout the year.
This dynamic team – Charlotte, Craig, Alannah, Chiara, and Colin – comes to us from across Australia and abroad, each bringing unique gifts, joy, and a shared love of Christ. Together, they are committed to inspiring young people to follow Jesus, deepen their faith, and find a home in the Church.
Throughout 2026, the team will support youth ministry across the diocese by getting involved with retreats, youth groups, events, and parish outreach. Their presence will help nurture vibrant faith communities and create meaningful opportunities for encounter, discipleship, and connection.
We are excited for the energy, faith, and hope they bring and we look forward to having them in our region this year.
