From the base of window 6, in a powerful upward diagonal sweep, the land appears. From the dust of Space emerges a
symmetrical volcanic cinder cone here in window 8. The ash and weirdly coloured clouds suggest a huge chemical experiment. The colours represent the Earth's minerals - gold, bauxite, iron, copper. The ash itself begins to form soil.
