Marking 100 Years Since the Beginning of Our Church’s Construction
Mother of Good Counsel Church, Innisfail is preparing to celebrate a significant milestone, with the church’s centenary to be marked in August 2028. As part of this journey, the parish will commemorate the 100th anniversary of the laying of the foundation stone in September this year, marking the beginning of the church’s construction and a century of faith, community, and worship in Innisfail.
Parishioners, former parish members, families, and friends are warmly invited to join this special occasion. Bishop Joe Caddy and Fr Kerry Crowley will be present for the celebrations, as together we give thanks for the generations who have shaped the life of the parish and look forward with hope to its future.
