Rosary Prayers During May

Join Catholic Mission Brisbane in honouring Mother Mary during the month of May through praying the rosary online.

Catholic Mission invites each and all in Brisbane, Cairns, Perth and Bunbury to go online to pray the Rosary together each weekday of May starting at 12noon in Perth & Bunbury, and 2 pm in Brisbane by joining us in the following Zoom meeting room at https://tinyurl.com/28xh55p8  (Meeting room ID: 87491188450;  Password: prayer).

For each rosary we say together during the Month of Mary, we ask for Our Lady’s solace, comfort and loving intervention into the lives of all who are suffering from the COVID-19 pandemic throughout the world and we pray for all the medical, health and pastoral workers caring for the sick and dying during these terrible times. May we all draw inspiration from their selflessness. Pope Francis says that praying together is our first missionary task, the very first. May our participation in this Rosary prayer across our country be our first act of selflessness during this Month of Mary.

Pope Francis’ heartfelt wish is for us to dedicate the month of May to a “marathon” of prayer, to ask for the end of the pandemic, which has afflicted the world for more than a year now, and to ask for the resumption of social and work activities.  Pope Francis wishes to involve all the Shrines around the world in this initiative, so that they may become vehicles of the prayer of the entire Church.
