The Cairns Diocese will host a ‘Cairns Hub’ for locals to participate in a Catholic Foundations course offered by Brisbane’s Archdiocesan Centre for Catholic Formation.

Beginning on April 15, adults across Cairns will have the opportunity to learn from expert presenters to deepen their knowledge on the concept of sacramentality, the seven sacraments, and liturgy.

The module “Being Sacramental” is for:

  • Those who want to grow deeper in their love for God and others
  • Those preparing for the ministries of lector, acolyte and catechist
  • Those who are parish staff or volunteers who do not have any formal theological qualifications
  • Those who want to share their faith with others

Mondays | 7-9pm

15 April, 22 April, 29 April, 1 week break

1 week break, 17 June, 24 June

This is the third module in a series of four that can be studied in any order.

Subsidies are available from Diocesan Outreach and Mission Services on application.
