It is with great sadness that we share, on behalf of the family and the wider diocesan community, that Fr Pat McKenna died peacefully at Cairns Base Hospital in the early hours of Friday, 12 June. We give thanks for his faithful and devoted service to our diocese, and for the many lives he touched through his ministry, kindness, and presence among us. Please join us in prayer as we honour his life and commend him to the loving mercy of God.
