The strong vertical dust cloud columns of windows 2, 3 and 4 become more familiar horizontal layers of sky, land and sea by windows 10, 11 and 12.
In this window we can see Thornton’s Peak, the Cooktown mountain-scape, Mt. Pyke and Lighthouse Rock. Dramatic tropical lightning strikes burn through until by window 12, beyond the thunderhead, a typically clear blue Queensland sky appears.
